Bathing Suit

A bathing suit is intended to be worn while participating in water sports and activities. Exciting water activities involve swimming, water polo, diving, surfing, and water skiing. Styles of bathing suits are boardshorts, jammers, swim trunks, briefs, “speedos” and thongs. Most people today want the most sun exposure with the least coverage. A special bathing suit can be crafted for competitive swimming. These special bathing suits can reduce skin drag and can look like a unitard.

A bathing suit can range from garments that completely cover the body to suits that reveal as much skin as possible, as long as the design follows community standards. In many countries, several women choose not to wear or not allowed to wear a bathing suit. The first style of the bikini was established after World War II. The popular one-piece bathing suit still remains as a trendy style of swimsuit. Some people still choose to wear clothes rather than swimsuits or whatever they feel more comfortable wearing.
